How it Functions |
At the moment ARH has 120 children and teens from 4 to
16 years of age, part time and full time. Most of them come either in
the morning or afternoon, from 8:00am to 1:00pm and 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
During this time the children have special educational courses, basic
education, meals, clothing, medical and dental assistance, etc. Besides these activities Kids Place has room and boarding for 26 children and teens who need a place to stay during the week. Among these children, 10 of them live permanently at Kid's Place, since they have no other place to live. There is still another type of clientele: the street children who are involved with glue sniffing and drugs, who seek Kids Place to receive meals, drinking water and clothing. This clientele is helped whenever Kids Place can manage without harming the work with the other children and teens. |
